What this book is
Mission Clarity is a guided workbook built around the five questions that, answered together, bring your own particular mission into focus. You could read it in an afternoon — but it's made to be explored through journaling, conversation, and prayer. Each question comes with clear framing, Scriptures to pray with, hands-on tools, a short prayer, and a closing exercise that produces one line of your personal Mission Clarity Statement.
By the last page, all the pieces have come together in a single statement that puts words to who you are, what you've been given, where it comes alive, what is central in your life right now, and how God is calling you personally to become a saint.
And, because grace is in the present moment, this book is made to be returned to. Your answers are true for a season, and every three to five years you can pick it up again and re-answer the five questions from wherever you find yourself.
The five questions
- What is my identity? The ground everything else stands on — who God is, who you are, and the relationship between the two.
- What are my charisms? A charism is a gift the Holy Spirit gives to a particular person for the good of the whole Church. The book walks you through all twenty-four so you can begin to recognize yours.
- What is my passion? If a charism is what you've been given, your passion is where it comes alive.
- What is my season in life? God's call is grounded in reality. This question helps you tell the truth about what is possible in your current season, and what's not.
- What scope is God giving me for my mission? From your household to the whole world — knowing where God is calling you to invest yourself is just as important as articulating what you have to give.
